Hello, my name is Gene Hoyt, thanks for stopping by and visiting the official website of Gene Hoyt Evangelistic Ministries. I want you to know that I appreciate and covet your prayers as I take The Glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. The following are some things that I commit to you as a Pastor, and as The Lord’s Church.

Preaching: I commit to preaching the truth according to The Word of Almighty God as The Lord lays it upon my heart. I will refrain from watered down sermons or speeches, and preach The Gospel. While it is likely that as an evangelist that some of my sermons may be repeated at other meetings, I will preach those sermons The Lord lays upon my heart for that particular time. You can also take comfort in the fact that I will not pressure, or brow beat your church.

Decisions: I am under no pressure to produce results. I preach The Word The Lord lays upon my heart and he brings the results. I have nothing to prove. I pledge to preach, pray, and visit to the best of my ability, and let The Lord bring the increase, for only He has the power to do so. I promise there will be no tricks or pressured invitations. They will be clear, to the point, and given in kindness and courtesy.

Visitation: I come to be your guest. It is my desire to be used and help you in any way I can. I will place myself under your guidance and will do whatever you ask in this matter.

Money: I will never promote the offering under any circumstance. A sincere pastor who uses an evangelist will understand the needs of this calling, and lead The Church in giving a worthy offering. If The Lord has led you to invite me, he will lead you to know what I need to continue this work He has called me to. I will not seek mailing lists or the names of your people, nor will I write them asking for support after the meeting is over.

Pastor: I have spent countless hours with pastors and call many of them friend. I have seen and know first hand the heartaches and joys of this calling. You can rest assured that I will honor and exalt your ministry before the church.

In Christ,

Gene Hoyt
